There are 5 works days in the spring and 5 in the fall, typically on Saturdays from 9 am to 12 Noon.
Once you are signed up, watch for an email detailing the work being done and the location.
* Additional "smaller" work will be done mid-week as necessary.
Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from February to June and September to November. Our meetings are currently being conducted via the Zoom audio/video conferencing platform. We will be resuming in-person meetings at the Port Franks Optimist Hall (9997 Port Franks Road) when possible.
We welcome observation and/or participation by interested members of our community but do request that you contact our Secretary, Mary Lou (maryloutasko@gmail.com), in advance of the meeting.
For public observation, requests must be directed to the Secretary forty-eight (48) hours before the meeting. For public participation, requests must be directed to the Secretary a minimum of one (1) week before the meeting. The number of presentations per meeting is limited to two (2), and each may be no longer than ten (10) minutes. Presentations that require longer than ten (10) minutes require permission of the Board.
These protocols allow us to better prepare for discussion and make efficient use of meeting time. Thanks for your understanding!
