Youth Engagement

Working with local students to get out on the trails.  We learn about our "Hidden Gems of Nature".

Volunteering time towards maintaining the trail network to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone to use.

Participating in camps to engage youth and learn about hiking, pitching tents, basic survival skills and nature..

Engaging the high school woodworking class in the creation of trail signs.

Learning about the wonders of the world by getting youth out in nature and seeing it first hand. 

Teaching the value of planting trees to help eliminate fragmentation in the forest.

Involving youth in socially responsible activities to help the environment such as the fight against phragmites.
